"Where can I find a date?" As someone who gives relationship advice for a living, I'm frequently asked this question. The short answer is that it's easy, but you first need to engage in some simple social interaction.

There are many effective ways to mingle with others. First, do you have a hobby or interest? Consider joining a local group or organization. Whether it's cycling clubs or bird watching, I bet there is some group in your area that is just filled with peoplewho possess the same passion as you about a particular topic.

It's important to note that such similarities are often the basis of successful relationships! Political activism, for example, is a wonderful way to meet like-minded folks who share your world view. Are you a dog lover? Enjoy cooking class? Poetry readings? Open Mic nights? Local sports recreation leagues? The possibilities are endless, so get out there and mingle!

Try not to rely solely on bars and nightclubs in order to mingle because they are not necessarily the healthiest environments in which to meet your future spouse or father/mother of your child.
